The client, a prominent Irish construction company, has experienced significant growth over the past decade due to its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

To support this growth, they are seeking a skilled Site Quality Manager to oversee quality control processes for a project based in Limerick.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Promoting a 'Right First Time' culture among the project team, emphasizing quality as a core value.
  • Investigating and resolving non-conformances, generating quality reports, and following up on identified issues to ensure timely closure.
  • Closely inspecting and signing off on rework related to non-conformances to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensuring all project work aligns with Mock Ups and First of Kind specifications to guarantee accuracy and precision.
  • Collaborating with site and installation teams to evaluate the effectiveness of quality control procedures and implement improvements as needed.
  • Complying with the company's Project Quality Plan to ensure seamless execution and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintaining Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), overseeing their development and execution to guarantee quality assurance.
  • Creating and submitting Inspection and Test Reports (ITRs) accurately and on time.
  • Verifying that all Quality documentation meets Procore platform requirements, maintaining data integrity.
  • FOLLOWING RELEVANT CODES AND STANDARDS TO ENSURE REGULATORY COMPLIANCE.
  • Contributing quality data to project progress reports, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Managing quality records, acceptance certificates, and project documentation according to established requirements.
  • PERFORMING BCAR INSPECTIONS, HANDLING CLOSURES, AND ENGAGING WITH ASSIGNED CERTIFIERS IN MEETINGS TO ENSURE SMOOTH PROJECT PROGRESSION.
  • ORGANIZING HANDOVER DOCUMENTATION, INCLUDING O&M MANUALS, SUBCONTRACTOR CERTIFICATES, PRODUCT DETAILS, AND AS-BUILT DRAWINGS, TO FACILITATE SMOOTH PROJECT TRANSITIONS.
  • GATHERING NECESSARY PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONS FROM CONTRACTORS, VERIFYING COMPLIANCE WITH PROJECT REQUIREMENTS.
  • PARTICIPATING IN SITE MEETINGS, FOSTERING COLLABORATION AND OPEN COMMUNICATION AMONG PROJECT STAKEHOLDERS.
  • TRACKING AND CLOSING OUT COMPLIANCE ISSUES ON PROJECTS, ENSURING ADHERENCE TO REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS.
  • ENSURING STRICT ADHERENCE TO ALL SITE SAFETY PROTOCOLS, PRIORITIZING THE WELL-BEING OF EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction field, with a proven track record of quality management.
  • A relevant third-level qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience engaging with clients and site leadership, demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and experience with Procore or similar platforms.
