Job Opportunity

A new chance has arisen for an experienced project manager to join our Dundalk-based team. This key role supports excellence in project delivery and is part of a small local PMO team responsible for leading and governing cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute multi-discipline tech transfer projects, including drug substance and drug product.
  • Develop project controls, such as project execution plans, schedules, risks, tracking, and budgets.
  • Lead the project team through all phases, engaging site teams as required, to achieve regulatory submission.
  • Manage selected projects within the site's portfolio, which may include process improvement, new system delivery, and NPI projects.
  • Ensure alignment of project timelines with business needs by developing project controls.
  • Apply the most suitable project execution methodology for each business challenge, such as Waterfall or Agile.
  • Track KPIs and report status timely.
  • Work with project sponsors at initiation to ensure project scope is fully defined and understood.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to lead project management best practices.
  • Resolve issues and escalate risks to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6+ years' industry experience, with at least 4 years in a project management role.
  • Leadership of technical and/or operational teams or projects within a biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization.
  • Experience of product transfer across a network.
  • Familiarity with biopharmaceutical bulk drug substance manufacturing, Aseptic Fill Finish, and Ops readiness.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to multi-level stakeholders.
  • Experienced in applying project execution methodologies, such as Waterfall or Agile.
  • Proficiency in project management tools/software.
  • Leading cross-functional matrix project teams.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Science, or related field.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Vaccines, Biologics, or Sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Project management qualifications (e.g., PMP certification).
