Job Description:

A leading building services consultancy, Talent-Curve, is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dublin. This exciting opportunity allows you to work on high-profile commercial, industrial, and residential projects, designing and developing innovative and sustainable building services solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering and 2-5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in building services or consultancy roles. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems in commercial, residential, or industrial buildings is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and oversee mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and water supply systems
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors to deliver design solutions that meet project requirements
  • Produce and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
  • Ensure designs comply with local and international building regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental considerations
  • Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including on-site visits and commissioning activities
  • Identify and propose energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions
  • Support tender processes by preparing cost estimates, technical specifications, and procurement documents
