Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team on a range of civil engineering projects across Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on high-profile infrastructure developments and gain valuable experience with a leading civil engineering contractor.


This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects, from conception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of site management, safety, and quality control are met.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction of work. They will also be required to regularly check setting out points, benchmarks, and calibration of instruments and measuring equipment being used.


Ongoing responsibilities include carrying out as-built surveys and records of completed works, managing Health, Safety & Environment matters, and assisting in managing systems to record the quality of work completed, testing, workmanship, and materials.


A strong understanding of site management, safety regulations, and surveying is essential, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices is also highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role is also necessary.


You must have strong knowledge of site management, safety regulations, and surveying, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices is also highly desirable.
