We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Threat Defense Expert to join TN Ireland's team on a 12-month contract.

This is a remote opportunity with the potential for extension and an excellent daily rate.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage firewalls, web proxies, and load balancers to ensure system security.
  • Demonstrate expertise in security architecture to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Effectively manage incident/change request queues and security mailboxes to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls and F5 LTM/GTM systems.
  • Maintain and upgrade all IT Security hardware and software supporting both on-premises and cloud-based firewalls.
  • Utilize expertise in managing and supporting Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls and F5 LTM/GTM, including upgrading and administration.

Skills:

  • 7 years of experience in IT with at least 3 years in an IT Security engineering role.
  • Familiarity with Azure and other cloud technologies is an asset.
  • Strong TCP/IP/Network traffic knowledge is essential for this position.
