The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed within agreed timelines and budget frameworks. A strong emphasis on health and safety, compliance, reporting, and documentation is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in engineering or equivalent and experience in civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity). They should also possess good knowledge of HSQE requirements, ground support systems, and time management abilities to meet targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver multiple projects in urban and rural environments, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Liaise and communicate with clients and client representatives to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Oversee the review and amendment of designs as necessary, ensuring they meet client requirements.
  • Lead the project site team, creating an environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Liaise with contracts managers and site agents to manage work and site resource requirements.
  • Ensure customers' expectations are met while building trust and confidence.
  • Continuously improve project processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Utilize new technology to create innovative solutions and streamline delivery processes.
  • Mentor junior site teams, identifying training needs and developing their skills.
  • Monitor site work, ensuring it is completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage the delivery of materials, addressing any discrepancies that arise.
  • Ensure all work complies with client requirements and safety legislation.
  • Oversee traffic management and health and safety on-site, ensuring all safety checks are completed.
  • Liaise with local authorities regarding footway conditions.
  • Liaise with the workflow department regarding the programming and scheduling of work.
  • Provide clients with status reports, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with clients to maximize the value of their infrastructure.
  • Perform quality control of works.
  • Efficiently manage administrative tasks.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks as required.
