Water Treatment Equipment Specialist

Eps Group has a requirement for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to support the operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to mechanical equipment on our water and wastewater contracting sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment including pumps, blowers, and pipework.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs – grease, lubricate, inspect/Oil Change gearbox's, pumps, blowers.
  • Check and adjust belt tension to ensure correct alignment.
  • Perform pump inspections and carry out general maintenance tasks.
  • Assess and replace pipework and valves as necessary.
  • Operate different piping systems – Cast Iron, PVC, ABS, stainless steel, galvanised mild steel.
  • Determine cause of mechanical faults and implement solutions – identify parts and replace successfully.
  • Participate in minor fabrication including welding and on-site bracketing when required.
  • Undertake mechanical work on site – install new or replacement kit.
  • Submit daily reports and maintain company HSQE policies.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
  • EU/Irish driving license.
