
Senior Test Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled engineer to provide support for new and ongoing test development projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up new test equipment, developing new test programs, and testing and evaluating new equipment.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing yields across production lines and implementing yield improvements.
They will also be responsible for controlling software using version control software, developing and implementing new innovation projects, and investigating and implementing potential test time reductions and process optimisation.
Our team is looking for an individual with strong programming skills, knowledge of visual basic software, and experience in functional test, ICT, AOI, and flash programming.
A degree in Electronic Engineering is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup of new test equipment and implementation in production
- Develop new test programs for upcoming new products
- Test and evaluate new equipment to help improve test methods
- Monitoring and reviewing of yields across production lines and recommendation and implementation of yield improvements
- Regular monitoring and reviewing of cycle times across all production lines and recommendation and implementation of cycle time improvements
- Control of software using version control software
- Development and implementation of new innovation projects
- Investigate and implement potential test time reductions and process optimisation
- Verification of test coverage on KOI products
Requirements:
- Programming skills
- Visual Basic software knowledge
- Functional test, ICT, AOI, flash programming knowledge
- High level of debug skills
- Good electronic circuitry knowledge
- Good project management skills
- Flexible, adaptable, motivated individual with willingness to learn
- A hard, diligent worker who can combine high quality work with high productivity
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with others
- A good team member who can work as an individual or as part of a team
- Positive attitude to work
