Our organisation is built on a foundation of integrity, innovation, and teamwork, and we are now seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team.

Your Role:
In this critical position, you will oversee the implementation of comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure the well-being of employees and prevent workplace accidents. Your expertise will help us achieve our goal of maintaining a safe working environment and complying with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating risk assessments, audits, and reporting activities
• Providing expert advice to senior management on EHS matters
• Developing and maintaining accurate records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions
• Fostering a positive safety culture through employee engagement and awareness initiatives
• Working closely with line managers to develop job-specific safety procedures and control measures

Requirements:
A minimum of four years' post-qualification experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably in an EHS role. Relevant qualifications, such as QQI Level 8, are essential. Experience with IPPC/IEL licenses and knowledge of wastewater treatment principles would be advantageous. Proven ability to influence at all levels within an organisation is also required.
