Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery: Ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within budget by effectively managing risks, contracts, operations, and communications.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate performance and budgets to meet agreed contract programs.
  • Design Team Leadership: Guide design team members to deliver best-value solutions while balancing program expectations from planning to completion.
  • Site Leadership: Provide clear direction to site teams, whether direct or subcontracted.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve escalated technical issues and other problems that may arise.
  • Resource Planning: Budget and plan material, plant, and labor resources for forward planning.
  • Costing and Billing: Oversee costing and billing to ensure the project remains within budget.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company procedures and legal obligations for safe construction at all times.
  • Civil Works Supervision: Successfully complete all civil works on site.
  • Technical Calculations: Produce high-quality technical calculations using current computer software.
  • Paper Preparation: Recommend and prepare technical papers.
  • Quantity Surveyor Support: Assist with site quantities and measures for monthly valuations.
  • Reporting: Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders, and partners.
  • Documentation: Assist the site delivery team in maintaining project documentation and trackers.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A degree or higher diploma in a relevant field or equivalent trade experience.
  • Significant site management experience on residential projects.
  • A background in residential developments is essential.
  • Knowledge of the latest building regulations and certification standards.
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks and projects.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical nature are crucial.
  • The ability to lead, use initiative, and be self-motivated.
