Private Markets Accountant Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our private markets and hedge fund accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Private Markets and Hedge Fund Accounting teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for one of our highest profile clients.
  • Develop strong relationships with client contacts, including investment professionals, investors, lawyers, auditors, and banking personnel.
  • Coordinate the preparation of quarterly Management accounts, capital call and distribution calculations, and Investors Capital Statements.
  • Understand, prepare, and review performance fee and waterfall calculations.
  • Manage annual fund audits.
  • Ensure adherence to department procedures, service standards, and specified deadlines.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 2 years at manager level.
  • A proven track record of leading a team in Private Markets or Hedge administration space.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale business/technology reengineering initiatives in private equity, hedge funds, and fund of funds businesses.
  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals.
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.
