Project Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex engineering and construction projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • About the Role:
  • Schedule Management: Assist and lead in the management of site schedules in conjunction with the project team and project manager.
  • Cost Management: Manage and track all costs associated with projects including Labour, Material, Plant & Equipment, Variations, Valuations.
  • Site Operations: Support in the oversight of all day-to-day site operations.
  • Team Management: Direct management of the project team including alignment of all disciplines for the achievement of project goals.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
  • Quality Control: Assist in the management of the in-progress snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable.
  • Reporting: Ensure direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours are reported to time administrator for tracking purposes.
  • Miscellaneous: Lead site meetings, internal project reviews, Engineering reviews, Planning and co-ordination meetings and handover meetings.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of the full design and construction process.
  • The ability to control and manage people and programs.
  • A trade background or a relevant third level qualification.
  • A proven record of coordinating and managing large projects.
  • A minimum of 5 years as a construction manager.
