Data Centre Capacity Delivery Director

A highly sought-after role in the field of data centre management is available for a seasoned professional with expertise in leading large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, technical systems, and strategic planning.

This role involves overseeing the delivery of new data centres, upgrades to existing facilities, and the implementation of critical building management systems across multiple countries. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for managing a group of professionals working on various disciplines, including construction, commissioning, controls, and critical projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, technical systems, and strategic planning. They should possess excellent leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results within tight timelines.

Key responsibilities:

1. Executing data centre construction at scale while meeting strict quality, safety, and timeline requirements
2. Leading and developing a technical team across multiple disciplines
3. Managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations
4. Overseeing project budgets and cost controls
5. Ensuring compliance with regional regulations and permitting requirements
6. Driving innovation in construction and operational efficiency
7. Collaborating with internal partners (Real Estate, Networking, etc.)

International travel may be required, but it's essential to deliver critical infrastructure to meet growing demands while maintaining high standards for safety, cost efficiency, speed, and quality.

Requirements include a degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Construction Management, along with minimum 10 years of construction management experience in large-scale MEP projects. You should also have demonstrated experience with electrical systems design and implementation, mechanical cooling systems, and managing general contractors and vendors.
