Director of Nursing Opportunity in Cork City

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team in Cork City. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a senior leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
- Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the nursing team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support quality care and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient services.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in nursing or a related field and registration with the relevant nursing authority.
- At least 10 years of post-registration experience in nursing, including 5 years in a management capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in regular meetings and training sessions to ensure they remain up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements.
