Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Loan Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our client service team, you will be responsible for overseeing loan trade capture, trade affirmation to loan lenders, lifecycle event processing and asset servicing on the FIS VPM Platform.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and high volumes. They will also have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

In this role, you will identify incoming agent notices and process all lifecycle events for portfolios containing multiple asset types. You will collaborate with Loan Administrators to interpret and resolve exceptions, communicate clearly with agent banks to confirm and obtain loan notices, and communicate with internal and external parties as required.

You will also support the daily processing for securities including Bonds, Equities and FX Forwards, coordinate between clients, loan agents and internal teams to resolve breaks and open reconciliations for timely settlement, and manage pre-settlement confirmations for private loan securities.

Additionally, you will create and maintain process flows and control tools for new business needs, build and maintain internal and external relationships, and take on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as required by managers or clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Loan administration experience, preferably with Private Debt financial security instruments
  • Experience of the Private Debt trade flow and FIS VPM vended application an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and high volumes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of custody, securities lending, prime brokerage, market trading practices and position processing
