Kitchen Director Job Summary:
The Kitchen Director is responsible for leading a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to guests. This involves overseeing the provision of food across all F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry best practices, and controlling costs without compromising quality.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to guests. Oversee the provision of food across all F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry best practices. Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, quality control, and administrative functions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability. Foster strong communication and work relationships across all areas of the hotel. Conduct monthly communication meetings and ensure that minutes and actions are recorded and followed up.
- Recruit, train, develop, and manage the kitchen team, ensuring compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, health & safety, and food safety legislation. Identify and address maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues in a timely and proactive manner.

Candidate Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Head Chef in a 3/4* or high-end property, with previous experience working in Ireland in a senior role. They must demonstrate strong leadership, motivation, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of achieving financial targets and managing kitchen budgets.
