Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Clinical Nurse Instructor, responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs in an intravenous (IV) setting.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be required to work as a 0.5 wte Educational Facilitator in the Nurse Practice Development Unit at Sligo University Hospital, with a focus on developing and implementing IV education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver educational programs for nursing staff
- Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge in IV therapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing or related field
- Relevant experience in nurse education and IV therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
