The Logistics & Scheduling Supervisor will be responsible for:

Schedule Coordination
  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for samplers and drivers.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet client requirements and deadlines.
  • Adjust schedules in response to changing client needs, employee availability, and other operational factors.
  • Utilize appropriate software solutions to deliver an efficient and easy-to-manage scheduling process.
  • Monitor and analyze scheduling metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to optimize routes, reduce travel time, and improve overall efficiency.
Team Management
  • Supervise and support samplers and drivers, providing guidance and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage the implementation of logistics schedules, policies, procedures, techniques, standards, and systems with the team, ensuring samplers and drivers have appropriate support.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Client Interaction
  • Liaise with clients regarding scheduling and sample collection.
  • Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through efficient and reliable service.
Operational Efficiency
  • Manage stock levels and order supplies required for sampling.
  • Work with the Finance team to manage fleet vehicles (e.g., service and DVRT scheduling), ensuring driver and vehicle safety.
  • Coordinate collections with lab supervisors to ensure proper capacity for processing and meeting customer deadlines.
  • Provide support with existing and new client quotations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
