Job Title: Project Manager

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing a construction project from inception to completion. As a Project Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals. You will work closely with the regional director, assistant project manager, quantity surveyor, and engineering team to collaborate effectively.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing subcontractors and staff. You will also champion compliance with HSEQ standards and zero emissions objectives.

As a main point of contact for the regional director, you will oversee client and supplier relationships, manage project delivery, coordinate with HSEQ teams, and handle resource planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary
Requirements:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable

Experience:

5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry

Proven track record of managing subcontractors and staff

Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
