  • Compiling and analyzing monthly financial statements, budget, and forecast reports, ensuring financial targets align with business goals.
  • Managing cash flow, working capital, and stock-related financial performance.
  • Analyzing sales trends, margins, and operational costs to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
  • Overseeing financial planning, including store performance analysis and cost control measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory, legal, and tax regulations specific to the retail industry.
  • Collaborating with store managers and senior management to drive financial efficiency and profitability.
  • Leading and developing the finance team, ensuring strong financial governance and best practices are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar financial leadership role.
  • Experience in the retail industry, including an understanding of stock management, sales reporting, and margin analysis.
  • Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting skills, and revenue compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both finance and non-finance teams.
  • ERP systems implementation would be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
