Design and Certification Engineer Role

This position requires an experienced multi-skilled engineer to develop, integrate, and document interior payload system requirements for large aircraft modifications. To ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, customer needs, and procedures outlined in the company's Design Organization Handbook.

  • The ideal candidate will work closely with the global engineering services team to identify project requirements and associated solutions.
  • Develop design solutions using CAD software for modifications to cabin systems such as layout changes, galley installations, lavatory placement, air conditioning systems, and paint schemes.
  • Produce substantiation documents to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and operational requirements, including flammability documentation, design reports, ground test plans, and system safety analysis.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, MROs, and other teams within the organization to create engineering solutions that exceed customer expectations on time and within budget.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or similar)
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in aircraft interiors mechanical/structural design engineering
  • CATIA V5 and/or AutoCAD industrial experience
  • Knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements, including (E)TSO, CS-25, and Part 21J design organizations
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and professional integrity
