Purpose:
As a Medical Device Assembler at Edwards Lifesciences, you will play a critical role in creating life-changing medical devices. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest quality products are delivered to patients around the world.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Using specialized tools and equipment to assemble medical devices accurately and efficiently.
- Developing expertise in various assembly operations, working on multiple production lines.
- Maintaining inventory levels and reconciling discrepancies at start and end of shift.
- Ensuring compliance with established work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Cleaning and sanitizing workstations, preparing for the next build.
- Evaluating own work, inspecting components under magnification, and reviewing colleagues' work.
- Meeting punctuality and attendance expectations, working standard hours and overtime when necessary.
- Performing general work area housekeeping duties.
Requirements:
- Fluent English language skills, with basic numeracy.
- Familiarity with Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules.
