Electrical Project Lead Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical project lead to oversee the delivery of our major power and ESB framework projects. As an electrical project lead, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all EHSQ policies and procedures, supporting site management with records, reporting, and equipment orders, inspecting, diagnosing, and testing electrical systems for safety and compliance, connecting and testing cables, circuit breakers, transformers, CT/VT, and related components, planning and overseeing installation and layout of electrical wiring and fixtures, supervising assembly, installation, and testing of electrical equipment, and leading activities on live substations (33kV and higher).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience in supervisory roles on live substations (33kV+). A qualified electrician, fluent spoken and written English, and relevant certifications such as TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, or equivalent are essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all EHSQ policies and procedures
  • Support site management with records, reporting, and equipment orders
  • Inspect, diagnose, and test electrical systems for safety and compliance
  • Connect and test cables, circuit breakers, transformers, CT/VT, and related components
  • Plan and oversee installation and layout of electrical wiring and fixtures
  • Supervise assembly, installation, and testing of electrical equipment
  • Lead activities on live substations (33kV and higher)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Electrician (essential)
  • Proven supervisory experience on live substations (33kV+)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, or equivalent)
