As a seasoned environmental professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our planet. We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting sustainable development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science or a related field, with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience. They will possess excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong expertise in environmental impact assessments and planning is also essential, as well as knowledge of relevant Irish and European planning and environmental legislation, guidelines, and regulatory frameworks.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating environmental inputs for impact assessment projects, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards. You will provide expert advice, collaborate with diverse teams, and mentor junior staff, playing a key part in integrating environmental considerations into project designs and facilitating regulatory compliance.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A third-level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 7+ years relevant experience preferred
  • Strong expertise in environmental impact assessments and planning
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Irish and European planning and environmental legislation, guidelines, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
