Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Director to lead our Transport Planning team in either Dublin or Cork. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a thriving team and become a key part of our continued growth during this exciting period for Transport Infrastructure investment in Ireland.

The successful candidate will have significant depth of Transport Planning experience, with expertise in appraisal, technical report writing, master planning, local transport plans and transport demand management. They will also possess strong project management skills, including client liaison and stakeholder engagement.

This role offers the chance to work on complex high-value proposals, manage subconsultants and joint venture partners, and ensure successful project delivery to time, cost and quality across multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about mentoring and growing less experienced team members, with line management experience and exposure to projects worth over €30m. They will also be able to lead multidisciplinary teams and develop effective stakeholder engagement plans and communications material.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree qualification in a relevant subject, such as Economics or Civil Engineering
  • Significant depth of Transport Planning experience
  • Project management experience, including client liaison and stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with Transport Modelling tools and techniques
  • Strong numerical and Excel skills
  • Experience and passion for mentoring and growing less experienced team members
