This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a leading multinational organization in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Procurement Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for managing direct, indirect, and research procurement categories, including strategic sourcing and procurement, supplier selection and negotiations, creating leverage above site, contract management.

You will also manage relationships with senior stakeholders on site, provide full support on supply, drive and support changes, understand site priorities, and use that opportunity to seek support and alignment on implementing procurement-driven projects (supplier changes, commercial initiatives, etc.).

Additionally, you will be responsible for strategic supplier relationship management to drive alignment to SSC Category targets and enable continuous improvement (supply, quality, innovation, cost, and regulatory aspect). You will implement globally cascaded projects (enabling global suppliers, driving SSC category strategy, etc.) including right project management to meet project deadlines, alignment with the site, managing supplier transition, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing direct, indirect, and research procurement categories
  • Strategic sourcing and procurement
  • Supplier selection and negotiations
  • Creating leverage above site, contract management
  • Relationship management with senior stakeholders on site
  • Providing full support on supply, driving and supporting changes
  • Understanding site priorities and seeking support and alignment on implementing procurement-driven projects
  • Strategic supplier relationship management
  • Implementing globally cascaded projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A BS/BA degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
  • MBA or CPM/Supply Chain certification preferred
  • Working experience in multinational companies, complex matrix organizations, exposure to international teams
  • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing/supply chain/procurement for manufacturing sites
