Regional Care Manager

Mowlam Healthcare Group is looking for an experienced Regional Care Manager to join our team. As a Regional Care Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing several homes and centres across the Mid-Southwest region.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with Directors of Nursing to ensure that high-quality care standards are met and exceeded in Mowlam Nursing Homes. This includes providing guidance and support to Directors of Nursing and their teams to achieve this goal.

You will also be responsible for objectively measuring quality standards in the homes and using these metrics to build consistency within and between homes.

This role requires significant travel and flexibility with working hours. It also involves collaborating with Director of Care Services, Healthcare Managers and Directors of Nursing in the achievement of all objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing qualification with more than 5 years' experience of management in the healthcare sector. They should be registered with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland and have a post-registration qualification in management.

Able to motivate self and others and work on own initiative, the successful candidate will also have excellent organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide support and guidance to Directors of Nursing
  • To work closely with Directors of Nursing to ensure high-quality care standards are met and exceeded
  • To objectively measure quality standards in the homes
  • To collaborate with Director of Care Services, Healthcare Managers and Directors of Nursing

Requirements:

  • Nursing qualification with more than 5 years' experience of management in the healthcare sector
  • Registered with Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland
  • Post-registration qualification in management essential
  • Extensive experience in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
