Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems for water infrastructure projects, including supervising engineering work related to the design of water supply and wastewater infrastructure.

You will work closely with our M&E team to ensure that all design work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This will involve collaborating with colleagues across our global hubs and working on a variety of projects, from concept to delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing electrical systems for water infrastructure projects, including pumping stations and treatment works
  2. Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes
  3. Developing and implementing design solutions using relevant software, such as AMTECH
  4. Ensuring compliance with water industry standards and regulations, including WIMES
  5. Mentoring junior team members in design and electrical engineering principles
  6. Broadening your contribution to other areas within the MEP discipline and supporting client-side or site-based roles in major infrastructure settings
