Role Description:
  As a Senior Radiographer at UPMC Aut Even Hospital, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our diagnostic imaging department is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are looking for a motivated and experienced radiographer to join our team.

  About the Role:
  The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a range of diagnostic imaging examinations, maintaining equipment and facilities, and contributing to the continuous enhancement of our services. You will work closely with radiologists, ward staff, and other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging examinations using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
  • Maintain diagnostic imaging equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with department staff, radiologists, wards, and other hospital departments as required.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our diagnostic imaging services.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities, staying up-to-date with current clinical, technical, and radiological developments.

  Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in radiography or equivalent qualification, and be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board (CORU).
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with current clinical, technical, and radiological developments, participating in ongoing education and training opportunities.
