Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Staff Engineer to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of payments and develop innovative solutions that drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects and leading high-performing engineering teams.

As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable systems, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing robust software systems that meet stringent performance and security requirements.
  • Leading technical design discussions and providing guidance on architecture and implementation best practices.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior engineers to help them grow in their careers.
  • Collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience in a strategic technical leadership role.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects and leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong technical skills in multiple programming languages, including Java, Ruby, and Python.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a distributed team environment.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical background.
  • Proficient in cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices.
