Senior Energy Engineer

FT is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to join our team in Cork, Dublin or Carlow office.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our Energy and Planning division, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. This role provides the opportunity to work across a wide range of activities within the Energy and Planning sector, including project management, environmental assessments and preliminary design for renewable energy developments.

  • Deliver projects in line with agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets set with the client.
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of CAD design documentation, collaborating closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
  • Participate in on-site meetings with clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Maintain adherence to internal Quality Assurance and Management Systems.
  • Ensure activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the project team to ensure seamless project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A degree in Civil Engineering, minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience, Chartered Engineer status, and experience in managing the preliminary civil design of renewable energy projects are advantageous but not essential.
