Diagnostic Imaging Leader for CT Services

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Leader to lead our team of professionals in delivering high-quality CT services.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and patient care in our diagnostic imaging department.
They will supervise and support radiographers within the team, providing mentorship and clinical guidance to ensure that all staff members have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care.
In addition, they will coordinate workflows to optimise efficiency, quality, and safety, contributing to the planning and implementation of service improvements, protocols, and audits.
Liaising with radiologists, referring clinicians, and other stakeholders will also be a key part of this role, ensuring smooth service delivery and promoting collaboration across departments.
To be successful in this position, you will need to stay up-to-date with advancements in CT technology and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our services and maintain our high standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:CORU registration as a Radiographer is essential, along with a minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience, with significant experience in CT. Proven leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable, as is excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A proactive approach to continuous learning, service improvement, and patient care is also vital.
