Marketing Director Position

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead the marketing function for our high-end hospitality venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, bookings, and engagement across all channels.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and proven experience in digital and traditional marketing. They will be able to develop and execute creative campaigns, manage social media platforms, and oversee the creation of engaging content.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisational and project management skills. The candidate must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

About the Role

Job Title: Marketing Director

Location: Castlebar, Co. Mayo

Salary: Up to €50,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Industry: Hospitality

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
  2. Manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, SEO, and PPC.
  3. Oversee the creation of engaging content, photography, video, and promotional materials.
  4. Liaise with sales, F&B, and events teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  5. Monitor marketing performance metrics and report on campaign ROI.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar marketing role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms including Meta, Google Ads, Mailchimp, and CMS platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in content creation and brand storytelling.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
