About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing individual contracts to deliver high quality ecological consultancy services. This includes providing expert ecological input for various projects, planning, conducting and supervising site ecological surveys and fieldwork.

The role also involves preparing and monitoring the implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans, undertaking Appropriate Assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments, and developing excellent relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts to deliver high quality ecological consultancy services
  • Provide expert ecological input for various projects
  • Plan, conduct and supervise site ecological surveys and fieldwork
  • Prepare and monitor the implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans
  • Undertake Appropriate Assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments
  • Develop relationships with clients

Requirements:

  • Degree in Ecology or related subject
  • Minimum 7 years post graduate experience in environmental consultancy
  • Member of CIEEM, CIWEM or equivalent professional body
  • Detailed knowledge of wildlife and conservation legislation within Ireland
  • Experienced in Construction Environmental Management Plans
  • Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills
