Cpl Healthcare is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in Sligo.

As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and delivering therapy interventions that enhance the communication and functional abilities of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  2. Provide therapy services, including communication assessments, diagnostics, and intervention strategies.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and person-centered care.
  4. Educate and support families, caregivers, and staff on communication strategies and individual needs.

Essential Criteria:

  1. A recognised third-level qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
  2. Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in disability services.
  3. Registration (or eligibility for registration) with CORU as a Speech & Language Therapist.
  4. Experience in delivering communication aid programs, such as Lámh.
  5. Valid Garda Clearance.
