  • Maintenance Strategy and Leadership

You will develop and implement the overall maintenance strategy for the Coolock Manufacturing site, aligned with our Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Engagement goals.

Team Management

As the leader of the full maintenance department, you will oversee a team of skilled professionals, including Maintenance Technicians, Plant Reliability Engineers, Automation Engineers, Maintenance Planner, and Facilities Manager.

Reliability and Performance

Your focus will be on driving 'Plant Reliability' for the site, collaborating closely with the manufacturing operations team to develop and deliver the maintenance strategy and reliability process.

Budget and Contract Management

You will be accountable for managing and forecasting the fixed cost budget/spend in the area, as well as controlling contractors within the manufacturing unit through the Plant reliability teams and Facilities Manager.

Change Management and Industrial Relations

Partnership with internal & external stakeholders and service providers is essential in delivering the agenda. You will also lead change programmes and manage day-to-day industrial relations within the engineering function.

Requirements:
  • Operational and Manufacturing Leadership Experience

A strong track record in operational and manufacturing leadership, preferably within the FMCG industry, is required. TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN 6 sigma tools and concepts, Health, Safety & GMP standards are essential.

Technical Expertise and Business Acumen

An engineer with strong financial & business acumen, project management and problem-solving skills is necessary. Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment, PM expertise and Spare parts management is required.

Communication and Leadership Skills

Excellent communication (verbal & written) and coaching skills are essential, along with a proven track record in leading large teams and managing a site's overall industrial relations environment.
