Job Description

The Delivery Commercial Interface Lead oversees the commercial interface between delivery operations and business stakeholders, ensuring cohesive project execution and achievement of shared objectives.

This role is responsible for managing and optimising commercial matters not directly related to the principal construction contracts, ensuring smooth coordination and communication among various stakeholders across the project.

The successful candidate will analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, lead risk activities related to interfaces, and provide strategic insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing commercial strategies to enhance delivery operations and achieve business objectives, acting as the primary point of contact for commercial matters between delivery teams and business stakeholders, and leading a team of delivery commercial Interface Managers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong project management skills to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the project.
  • Ability to effectively engage with and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with interfaces.
  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and relate to individuals and groups – both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service.
  • Ability to develop successful commercial relationships that have benefitted programme performance and delivery metrics.
