Medical Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced medical professional to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Consultant in Gastroenterology & General Medicine, you will have the opportunity to work in a leading hospital, providing high-quality patient care while contributing to the development of innovative medical practices.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, with expertise in diagnosing, managing, and treating gastroenterological conditions. You will also be responsible for delivering endoscopic services, including diagnostic and therapeutic OGD, colonoscopy, polypectomy, and participating in the BowelScreen Programme (if accredited).

Additionally, the successful applicant will provide acute medical assessment and inpatient care, support the Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU) and Emergency Department interface, and admit, assess, and manage patients as part of the general medical take.

Key responsibilities include running specialist outpatient clinics, supervising day-case and inpatient gastroenterology care, and participating in the General Medical on-call rota.
