Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Machinery Engineer Surveyor to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work with various types of machinery.

In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing industrial equipment, such as passenger lifts, escalators, MEWPs, forklift trucks, and cranes. Your reports will help ensure that customers are compliant with vital regulations and that their assets are safe and operational.

You will work closely with our team to deliver excellent service and support, providing exceptional customer service while representing our company professionally.

Responsibilities

* Conduct thorough inspections of industrial equipment to identify defects and potential safety hazards
* Complete detailed reports to ensure customer compliance with regulatory requirements
* Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on equipment maintenance and operation
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems

Requirements

* Engineering qualification at a NFQ level 6 or higher
* Strong practical experience working with various types of machinery
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
