As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients. Your strong background in bookkeeping, expertise in VAT, payroll processing, and management accounts will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring timely compliance with regulations.
  • Process payroll for multiple clients, including preparation of payslips, management of deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Requirements

To be successful as a Bookkeeper at GPC Finance, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping, with specific expertise in VAT and payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
