After School Club Assistant Role OverviewWe are seeking a part-time After School Club Assistant to work with children in Dublin 13. The ideal candidate will have experience working with kids and be able to engage them in fun activities after school.The role is available from September onwards, and the hours are negotiable. This position may suit childcare students who are currently studying and looking for part-time work.
  • Supervise and engage children in after-school activities, promoting their physical, social, and emotional well-being
  • Assist with preparing healthy snacks and drinks
  • Ensure the children's safety and security at all times, creating a secure and nurturing environment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere among children, encouraging participation and social interaction

2. Assist with homework and educational activities, helping children develop essential skills and knowledge

3. Develop and implement engaging activity plans, incorporating games, arts, and crafts to promote creativity and imagination

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with children in a similar setting

2. Ability to establish strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team

Working Hours:

The role is available for negotiation, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and needs.
