Experienced Veterinary Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive team in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Veterinary Surgeon, membership of the Veterinary Council of Ireland, strong surgical and clinical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and motivation to develop professionally within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and care for patients in line with the standards of the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
• Manage a wide range of cases and perform surgical procedures with confidence and precision.
• Maintain accurate medical records and prescribe medications safely.
• Provide clear, empathetic communication with clients regarding diagnostics, treatment options, and care plans.
• Promote preventative healthcare plans and insurance to support optimal patient wellbeing.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver consistent, compassionate veterinary care.
• Participate in staff training and contribute to maintaining best practice standards.
• Carry out administrative tasks including referral letters, laboratory submissions, vaccination records, passports, and insurance forms.
• Adhere to professional conduct guidelines and remain up to date with CPD requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• Membership of the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI).
• Strong surgical and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-care abilities.
• Motivation to develop professionally within a supportive team environment.
