A Nurse Specialist is required to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing high-quality patient-centred care for paediatric and adult patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients throughout their hospital journey, adhering to professional clinical guidelines and legislative requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Act as an advocate for patients and families, providing appropriate information and support services.
- Provide age-appropriate emotional and clinical support to children and their families, prioritising their physical and emotional well-being.
- Ensure safeguarding standards and child protection guidelines are upheld at all times, promoting a safe and secure environment.
- Support the growth and development of pre-registration students, mentor new staff members, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Collaborate with management to achieve departmental goals and objectives, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- Registered Nurse with current registration and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
