Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical role within our organization. As a Senior Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing deal agreements and KYC documents for new investments/borrowers.

You will work closely with our client relationships and have specific responsibility for the company secretarial and governance process undertaken by the Cork team.

  • Ensure oversight of deal agreements and KYC documents for new investments/borrowers;
  • Evaluate missing KYC information with clients and their vendors/legal representatives;
  • Perform quality reviews on projects and provide sign off;
  • Maintain accurate records of KYC information in client/UBO databases and electronic document management systems;
  • Monitor ongoing tasks related to these investments/transactions and their associated parties;
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills to achieve mutually satisfactory resolutions;
  • Familiarity with screening tools such as WorldCheck/Dow Jones/Finscan is beneficial;
  • Ability to interpret risk ratings and apply investigatory initiative;
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and mentor junior team members;
  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives;
  • Provide input on CDD procedures to ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A degree in business, finance, or economics;
  • 3-5 years' experience in the financial services or fund services industry;
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CTF legislation/directives;
  • High interest in regulatory and compliance topics;
  • Fluency in English; any additional languages are considered advantageous;
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and think creatively;
  • Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and assess risk scores;
  • Sound knowledge of legal entity structures, both domestic and international;
  • Results-driven approach combined with attention to detail;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office application skills.
