Job Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced audit professional to join our team as an Audit Senior.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified auditor to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our organization.

  • Assume responsibility for completing complex audit files and financial statements to a high standard, within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for drafting high-quality financial reports that meet client requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff on accounts preparation and audit procedures.
  • Lead audit assignments and supervise team members during engagements, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Identify and report areas of non-compliance with auditing and accounting standards, ensuring the highest level of integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare and review comprehensive audit planning documentation and final reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Present findings to senior stakeholders, effectively communicating complex information and insights.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of junior team members through coaching, feedback, and structured career support.

Occasional travel may be required for client assignments (including overnight stays).

Key Requirements

A minimum of 12 years post-qualification experience in audit, with a strong track record of managing complex assignments and leading teams.

Previous experience auditing Irish companies is essential, with a deep understanding of local regulations and standards.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and produce high-quality reports under pressure.

Able to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service, prioritizing their needs and expectations.

A confident self-starter with excellent organizational and planning capabilities, able to work independently and lead teams towards shared goals.
