Job Title: Senior Laboratory Specialist
A pharmaceutical organization based in Dublin is seeking a skilled laboratory specialist to oversee the qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory systems in a cGMP Quality Control environment.
This role requires strong knowledge of analytical instrument validation and data integrity assessments. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field and at least 3 years of laboratory experience in a cGMP laboratory environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting equipment qualification and maintenance activities, as well as managing changes to existing equipment and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting routine calibration, requalification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Qualifying new laboratory equipment in a cGMP regulated environment.
- Conducting periodic reviews of instrument validation.
- Alerting management to any issues with equipment that fails to meet calibration or qualification requirements.
- Scheduling and coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance with vendors/contractors.
- Participating in technical project teams to provide expertise on instrument validation and procedures.
Additional responsibilities may include supporting Data Integrity Assessments for Lab systems and participating in change control projects.
