Nursing Director Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care.

This is a full-time position based at our Dublin South location, working closely with our nursing home group to uphold excellence in person-centred care, clinical oversight, and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily clinical operations with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a culture of respect, inclusion, and safety for residents and staff.
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with HIQA regulations, driving excellence in elder care.
  • Support staff development through mentoring and training, overseeing risk management and safeguarding practices.
  • Oversee the implementation of best practices in elder care, promoting international standards and awareness.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI registration, demonstrating continuous professional development.
  • Management qualification in health or a related field, with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience in Older Person Care within the past 6 years.
  • Strong leadership skills, combined with excellent IT and digital skills, including awareness of international best practices in elder care.
