Job Overview

This position involves providing specialized physiotherapy services, focusing on complex hand and upper limb disorders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing plastics patients, including traumatic hand injuries, non-traumatic hand/upper limb disorders, skin grafts/flaps for cancers, skin loss/injury, non-healing wounds & burns, and breast reconstruction surgery.

Demonstrated continuing professional development with expertise in hand therapy is essential.

A strong understanding of interprofessional working and the Health Service reform programs is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of plastics patients, providing expert care and treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in hand therapy, incorporating this knowledge into practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of services and patient experiences.
