Seeking a senior transportation engineer to lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects across Ireland and the UK.

Roughan & O'Donovan is a leading civil, environmental and structural engineering consultancy. As a member of our team, you will work on a variety of challenging projects, including upgrades to existing infrastructure, new builds, and maintenance of existing assets. You will have opportunities to develop your skills and expertise, and to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and at least four years' post-qualification experience in the design or construction of civil engineering projects. They should have good knowledge of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) Publications and the National Highways Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB), as well as other relevant standards and regulations. The candidate should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling).

A master's degree in civil engineering is desirable, along with chartered membership of a recognised professional body in the engineering sector. Experience in drainage design, pavement design, and traffic modelling software packages such as Paramics, LinSig and Junctions is also beneficial.
