Global Product Director - Dairy & Bakery Enzymes

Drive and manage the overall performance of dairy and bakery enzyme categories, aligned to strategy and manufacturing capabilities.

Relocation support is provided. Further work locations will be evaluated during the recruiting process. Global travel is highly required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the optimized Finished Goods Portfolio aligned to strategy, including maintaining market-relevant collections and identifying innovation requirements;
  • Determine efficient business terms to ensure competitiveness and support an enhanced customer experience;
  • Determine and communicate target margins and pricing guardrails to optimize financial performance;
  • Identify levers to enhance margin, such as plant transformation activity or process technology improvements.
Qualifications And Skills:
  • Solid experience in management/leadership roles in enzymes with a strong understanding of product and portfolio management;
  • Ability to drive change and growth of technology at a global level;
  • Experience in working in a global matrix organisation with strong influencing skills;
  • Resilient, positive attitude and ability to lead teams through setbacks;
  • Strong experience in food applications for enzymes – dairy, bakery, beverage, etc.;
  • Strong industry network and understanding of landscape, competitors, market dynamics;
  • Strong understanding of enzyme science; ability to understand and translate;
  • Experience in P&L management and decision-making for short and long term;
  • Adept at managing senior stakeholders with clear and confident communication;
  • Commercial experience – customer and market experience and skills;
  • Project management experience, particularly managing new launches through a global organisation.
